We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced caregiver to take care for 5-year-old child with Autism.
Working hours: Stay-in (12 hours, Monday – Saturday)
This is a stay-in position, with accommodations provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care focused on the child’s developmental needs
- Implement individualized learning strategies
- Assist with daily routines (feeding, bathing, dressing)
- Manage behavior with ASD-appropriate techniques
- Work closely with parents and therapists to follow a care plan
- Engage the child in sensory activities and social play
Qualifications:
- Certification or training in Caregiving NC-II
- Experience working with children with ASD
- Patience, empathy, and great communication skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors calmly
- Willingness to provide 24/7 stay-in care
