HR Specialist for OD and Talent Management ID-3661

The HR Specialist for Talent Acquisition is responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring, and conducting pre-boarding and onboarding activities for newly hired employees based on the ISO standards. The position is responsible in leading the Talent Acquisition activities across plant sites including the review and processing of all manpower requests and hiring documents within agreed time frame and with excellent customer service.

RECRUITMENT

  • Discuss qualification requirements and terms and conditions of manpower request with managers.
  • Create and publish hiring announcements in various job portals.
  • Coordinate with concerned hiring managers regarding the recruitment status of each vacant position.
  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
  • Facilitate approval of manpower requests from all plant sites.
  • Provide support to plant site with hard to fill positions

SELECTION

  • Review resumes and job applications
  • Conduct initial interviews with shortlisted candidates and maintain a database on employees for future vacancies.
  • Administer aptitude, personality, or technical test as required by the position
  • Provide status/updates with candidates throughout the hiring process

PLACEMENT

  • Collaborate with hiring managers regarding their hiring decision and prepare hiring documentation for the recommended candidates as advised by the managers
  • Endorse hiring documents to HR Officer for preparation of Job Offer
  • Conduct pre-boarding and onboarding activities to employees

RECRUITMENT REPORTS

  • Produce reports on hiring status, plans and strategies
  • Coordinate hiring status with HRs from plant sites

EXPERIENCE

With at least 2-3 years of relevant experience

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management Development, Behavioral Courses, Communications, and other relevant degree

Registered Psychometrician and Certified Human Resource Associate licenses are considered advantage but not a requirement

MINIMUM SKILLS

  • Clear verbal skills to communicate well with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Strong negotiation skills when discussing terms and conditions of employment.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of hiring strategies, labor laws, and employment equity.
  • Hands-on experience in using job portals
