Job Summary:

As a Data Analytics Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in deriving actionable insights from large datasets to support data-driven decisions in port operations. In addition to performing standard data analysis, you will develop a deep understanding of port logistics and operations to provide more nuanced, industry-relevant insights. Your core responsibilities will involve analyzing data, spotting patterns, and delivering recommendations to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of port operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze extensive datasets to enhance operational efficiency in port activities, applying statistical techniques and data visualization to detect patterns and outliers.
  • Design and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare both routine and ad-hoc reports in collaboration with stakeholders to address their reporting needs.

Domain Expertise Development and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of port operations and logistics by working closely with industry experts to contextualize and enrich analytical insights.
  • For senior roles, lead analysis and projects to ensure results are measurable, actionable, and aligned with stakeholder goals.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

  • Partner with various teams to identify and address their analytics requirements effectively.
  • Collaborate with data management teams to maintain data accuracy, quality, and accessibility.
  • Proactively identify areas for process optimization while staying informed on the latest trends and advancements in data analytics.
