The role:

We’re looking for a Director, Marketing Creative (Contract) to lead and elevate our global marketing creative efforts. In this role, you will develop world-class creative strategies and content to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention, ensuring that ELSA’s brand stands out across channels.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead Creative Strategy: Develop and oversee ELSA’s marketing creative strategy to deliver impactful, data-driven campaigns across multiple channels, including paid ads, app store visuals, CRM, social media, and the website.
  • Content Development: Drive the production of high-quality creative assets, including video ads, static images, animations, and email visuals, ensuring consistency and alignment with ELSA’s brand voice and audience preferences.
  • Manage Creative Team: Lead and collaborate with internal designers, writers, and external creative agencies or freelancers to execute campaigns effectively and on time.
  • User-Centric Focus: Leverage user insights and feedback to inform creative decisions and tailor messaging for global audiences.
  • Performance Optimization: Collaborate closely with growth, CRM, and product marketing teams to test, iterate, and optimize creative assets for performance metrics (e.g., CTR, conversion, engagement).
  • Brand Development: Strengthen and evolve the ELSA brand identity while ensuring it resonates with diverse global audiences.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Leadership Skills: Experience managing and inspiring creative teams, both internal and external, to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Performance Orientation: Familiarity with performance marketing and creative testing to drive measurable results (e.g., A/B testing, data-led creative).
  • Global Perspective: Ability to create content that resonates with diverse audiences across markets. Experience working on global campaigns is a plus.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally with growth, product marketing, CRM, and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and video editing platforms.
  • Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, startup-like environment with a high degree of flexibility and problem-solving.
