Tesla is searching for an exceptionally energetic Gear Designer to make producing hardware and cycles for our state of the art Castings and CNC Machining undercarriage/drive unit fabricating office. Tesla is a requesting and quick moving climate where you will work with an exceptionally energetic group on very testing projects. As well as creating fabricating hardware and cycles, Assembling Specialists work with cross-useful groups all through the whole item lifecycle. You will work intimately with Configuration Designing, Quality and Creation to take new part plans into full creation with new hardware and update existing gear plans to meet new creation needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Report to Designing Administrator and lead plan of assembling hardware projects and fixturing.
  • Lead advancement of new and existing assembling cells with cycle and controls designing
  • Drive plan for manufacturability
  • Foster details for custom computerization gear
  • Intently team up with outer hardware integrators on custom mechanization gear plan
  • Oversee outer gear integrators from hardware advancement through buyoff
  • Approve and describe new gear and apparatuses for creation execution
  • Make point by point Assembling Directions to record new cycles
  • Lead progressing improvement of hardware norms and documentation

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Mechanical or Assembling Designing or identical experience
  • Experience with various new gear/item establishments/new companies
  • 5 or more long stretches of assembling designing experience
  • Experience creating fabricating hardware for new and one of a kind items
  • Experience progressing gear or installations from model to creation
  • Experience creating computerized fabricating hardware
  • Experience with modern robots (FANUC, Kuka) emphatically liked
  • PLC programming and organization information liked
  • Experience presenting new hardware and new cycles into a creation climate (APQP is an or more)
