GSA Management Inc (InSite Property Group) is a leading institutional developer and owner of real estate self-storage assets nationwide. We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Asset Management team.

Objective:

The Data Analyst will develop advanced analytics to enhance our understanding of asset and market performance across our portfolio and target markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and gather data on markets, social trends, economic factors, and competitors from both external (paid sources, public databases) and internal company sources.
  • Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in maintaining data pipelines, data warehousing, and extraction.
  • Formulate and test hypotheses using statistical methods to validate assumptions and inform business strategies.
  • Develop and update predictive models to forecast market dynamics and asset performance.
  • Assist in the design, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and data warehousing solutions.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau to present insights to executives and stakeholders.
  • Integrate insights using tools like Tableau for executive and stakeholder reporting.
  • Enhance data collection methods and processing techniques to improve data accuracy, integrity, and usability.
  • Work with different teams to make sure your analysis supports business goals and strategy.
  • Work closely with teams across operations, finance, and revenue management to ensure analytical initiatives align with business objectives.

Other Functions:

  • Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

Other Jobs You May Be Interested In

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Pandas and other relevant machine learning libraries.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience in geospatial analysis ArcGIS is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with data in a professional setting.
