Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
Certification: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
Experience: Proven experience as a medical coder in a US-based healthcare setting.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.
Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining coding accuracy.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
