Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our level of service. You will work alongside our pharmacists to provide outstanding customer care and execute daily operations in the pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions and updating patient profiles.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and handling inquiries with professionalism.
  • Process insurance claims and verify information for accuracy.
  • Manage medication inventory and place orders to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Operate cash registers and handle transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company and regulatory policies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification or willing to obtain within the first year of employment.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
