This person will be responsible for monitoring the flow of product thru the different shops of the factory to ensure that production output is being maximized. Their goal is to be looking ahead to prevent issues and when issues occur, stepping in and working with all required groups (Shop Leaders, Production Control (material flow), Master Scheduler, New Product Introduction, Material Planning, Logistics etc.) to develop the action plan and lead implementation to facilitate quick recovery to minimize impact on overall performance.
