Plastics manufacturing experience is preferred for this role.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtains the correct documentation for the batch.<\/li>\n<li>Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. \u00a0Troubleshoots equipment and processing issues.<\/li>\n<li>Examines materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.<\/li>\n<li>May take samples of materials to lab for evaluation and instructions on any batch adjustments if needed.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area. May be required to obtain the correct ingredients for mixing and weigh out the ingredients to meet the recipe specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Sets up and starts any weigh-up or packaging machinery, checking all controls for adherence to operating\/safety procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Notifies appropriate personnel of any issues, problems or concerns in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Safely and neatly processes, batch off, screen, cut up, package and\/or skid material to correct size\/container according to customer specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately supplies\/supports Production Operators with appropriate materials\/functions to efficiently keep all equipment operational.<\/li>\n<li>Performs all required machine cleaning.<\/li>\n<li>Completes and maintains required paperwork and\/or documents.<\/li>\n<li>Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"job_qualifications\">\n<p><strong>Education and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>UK High School diploma, GED equivalency or relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Two (2) or more years of manufacturing experience with experience in plastics industry preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PolyOne Work From Home Jobs Advisor Full Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous Plastics manufacturing experience is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to read\/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes\/materials.<\/li>\n<li>Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and apply these skill to weights, measures of volume and distance.<\/li>\n<li>Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally, in English.<\/li>\n<li>Must have manual dexterity for hand tools of various types.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to drive a forklift.<\/li>\n<li>Must have problem solving skills and some mechanical aptitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and\/or hear.
