They will have to evaluate the gaps (missing data) and any information needed to complete the medial journey story of the patients. The Clinical Data Abstractor will manage PHI daily and thus work with a high level of discretion when managing the data. This individual will review data from EMRs and other systems and add any updates in from these systems to designated internal databases as well as make notes as to why this data continues to be missing.<\/p>\n<p>This individual must be self-motivated and consistently demonstrate high attention to detail. This position will report to the clinical leads and be subject to routine chart audits for accuracy and efficiency.
