As a Small Group Account Retention Representative, you’ll be working in a dynamic call center environment, assisting customers with inquiries, renewing accounts, handling escalated issues, and ensuring that customers’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner. You’ll be key to achieving departmental goals related to small group account retention and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Renew small group accounts or sell additional products and services to existing customers.
- Research and respond to telephone and written customer inquiries.
- Handle escalated issues, ensuring accurate and prompt resolution.
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Meet departmental goals for small group account retention and service standards.
- Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Licensing: Must have a General Agent State Insurance License or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC or data entry.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to evaluate customer situations, make decisions, and respond quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented in all aspects of customer interactions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong organizational and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Health care product knowledge.
- Business phone experience.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $44,500 – $67,000 per year.
- Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
