Position Overview:

As a Security Analyst (Level I) in our Security Operations Center (SOC), you’ll be a vital team member responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents across diverse client environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated and innovative team, using the latest tools and technologies to safeguard critical systems.

  • Monitor and analyze security events and alerts.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.

  • Support the implementation of security controls and incident response protocols.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent certifications and experience.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a SOC environment.
  • Bonus: Experience working in a Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP).

Certifications:

  • Security+ or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of network and security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS).
  • Familiarity with common security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in incident response and digital forensics.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
