Job Description:
Schwann’s Home Delivery is seeking a dedicated and energetic Mail Order Material Handler to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping frozen food products to our customers. If you’re a high performer, you can grow within the company into roles such as Warehouse Lead or Route Sales Representative.

- Unload dry goods (Styrofoam coolers, cardboard, packing materials, etc.) from semi-trucks and move to warehouse storage.
- Pick and pack frozen food orders into coolers with dry ice for shipment.
- Ensure proper packing, including accurate amounts of dry ice and product literature.
- Weigh and scan packages for shipment, ensuring accurate shipping labels are affixed.
- Maintain inventory of products and dry goods.
- Conduct general upkeep of the facility and assist with warehouse tasks.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols for handling dry ice and operating equipment like pallet jacks.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethics, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a freezer environment for 4-8 hours per day and standing for extended periods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency or a willingness to learn.
