Scribe Pay Structure:

$11/hour – No scribe experience
$12/hour – 6+ months scribe experience
$14-17/hour – Lead scribe (1+ year scribe experience required)
+ $1/hour for fluent Spanish-speaking candidates

Position Summary:

As a Medical Scribe with Scribe-X, you will:

Perform chart preparation according to clinic protocols.
Accompany providers during patient visits and document real-time encounters.
Document patient history, physical exams, procedures, and patient plans as directed by providers.
Remind providers of relevant quality metrics and document accordingly.
Enter lab and radiographic studies, medication orders, and patient instructions.
Review completed charts with providers and update clinic preferences as needed.

Education and Skills Required:

Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
A healthcare track (pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a GPA of 3.00 or greater.
If no degree, 1+ year of full-time scribe experience is required.
Most assignments require a typing speed of at least 60 WPM.
