Job Overview:

IntellaTriage is seeking compassionate and experienced Hospice Triage Nurses to join their growing remote team. As a Hospice Triage Nurse, you will provide after-hours triage care, helping patients manage end-of-life care, while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of working from home. You will become an integral part of the team, utilizing best-in-class technology and customized protocols to deliver compassionate care for hospice and home health patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Triage: Respond to hospice and home health calls, providing end-of-life care triage and support using patient-centered protocols.
Technology Use: Efficiently navigate multiple technology platforms for charting, documentation, and communication during calls.
Call Handling: Manage up to 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 calls per hour on weekends. Provide empathic communication while adhering to protocols.
Shift Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 shifts per week, between 4:30 AM and 11:00 AM CST.
- Work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM CST).
- Be available for some holidays.
Training & Documentation:
- Complete three weeks of paid remote training (schedule varies).
- 30 minutes of paid shift preparation before taking calls.
- Complete charting after each shift (up to 2 hours).

Requirements:

Licensing: Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact RN license and maintain an active license in your home state.
Experience:
- Hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in fast-paced environments (e.g., ED, surgical services, critical care) is a plus.
Technology Skills: Comfort with accessing multiple technology applications for documenting and managing calls.
Typing Competency: Must be able to type quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Ability to communicate empathically and professionally with patients and families.
Work Environment: Must have high-speed internet and a quiet, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
Availability: Must work every other weekend and be flexible to work some holidays.

Additional Information:

Location: This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in a Compact US state and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
