Remote Consultant – OneStream

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 (Depending on experience) + Benefits/Variable Compensation/Equity

About the Job:

OneStream is looking for a Remote Consultant to support customers, internal teams, and partners through implementations and post-implementation processes. This position involves providing consulting and support related to the OneStream platform, including troubleshooting, custom solution-building, and providing training materials. The consultant will help ensure customers have a smooth experience after go-live and will assist in enhancing their usage of the product. Some travel (10-15%) is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

Post-Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support to customers, helping with data discrepancies, issues, formulas, business rules, and integration building.
Custom Solutions: Build reports, security models, dashboards, and custom event processes.
Consulting: Assist during the customer transition and gather business requirements for application support.
Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including the application services team and development teams, to address customer needs and enhance the OneStream product.
Documentation & Training: Create Knowledge Base articles, help with internal training sessions, and support customer-facing training materials and events.

Qualifications:

Required:

Education: College diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 5+ years of full-time accounting/finance experience (or equivalent).
- 2-5 years of experience in consulting for CPM software implementations or development.
- SQL, VB.Net, C#, or similar coding experience.
- Strong financial skills (understanding of financial concepts, general ledgers, debits, credits, intercompany eliminations, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred:

Certifications: A professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGA, CA), advanced degrees (MBA, MFA), or other certifications in accounting/finance or information technology.
Experience with OneStream or similar platforms:
- OneStream XF, SAP Outlooksoft BPC, SAP BOFC, HFM, Hyperion, Cognos, or similar EPM solutions.

Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Travel:

10-15% travel required.
