Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Learning:
- Deliver effective lessons in Tamil that align with the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Foster a creative, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Extra-Curricular and Co-Curricular Activities:
- Participate in and support the development of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities related to Tamil language and culture.
- Management of Resources:
- Efficiently manage teaching resources to enhance student learning experiences.
- Ensure resources are aligned with curriculum needs.
- Monitoring, Evaluation & Assessment:
- Continuously assess and monitor student performance through regular evaluations and feedback.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
General Requirements:
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Tamil Language.
- Professional Qualification: A professional teaching qualification such as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is required.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in teaching in a Cambridge International School is highly advantageous.
- Experience in handling IGCSE O Level cohorts is preferred.
Additional Criteria:
- Only open to Singapore Residents.
- No quota for foreign applicants.
