Key Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, web, or written communication, providing assistance and resolving issues.
Address customer questions and resolve routine matters related to their plans, benefits, and services.
Handle incoming requests and route more complex issues to the appropriate team.
Build strong, empathetic relationships with customers to understand their needs.
Educate customers about available benefits, services, and tools to self-manage their plans.
Document and track interactions in our CRM system, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
Support clinical, provider, and member operations by managing various administrative tasks.
Provide guidance on claims, medical necessity, and eligibility, assisting with documentation as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in customer service, especially in a call center or retail environment.
Empathetic approach to customer service with the ability to manage sensitive situations.
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a healthcare environment or with health plans.
Familiarity with Aetna’s products and services is a plus.
