Job Title: Senior/Lead Data Analyst – Underwriting and Verification Deployment Team

Position Overview:

As a Senior/Lead Data Analyst on the Underwriting and Verification (UV) Deployment team within the Personal Lines organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing key underwriting insights. This role will see you managing projects that deliver actionable insights to the market, improve current UV processes, and enhance customer support. You’ll be responsible for deploying new pre-binding verification (PBV) segmentation countrywide and improving the deployment process and reporting for PBV.

  • Lead efforts to provide insights into underwriting and verification through data analysis.
  • Manage projects that improve UV processes and customer support.
  • Deploy new PBV segmentation to enhance operations across the company.
  • Support continued process improvements and handle reporting for PBV deployment.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six years of analytical work experience;
    OR

    • A Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least five years of analytical work experience;
      OR
    • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field and at least three years of analytical work experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proven technical aptitude and experience in data manipulation and visualization using tools such as SAS, Snowflake, R, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in creating and manipulating spreadsheets (v-lookups, pivot tables, charts).
  • Passion for continuous improvement and ensuring data quality.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and work in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $79,200 – $127,700/year, depending on position level and experience.
  • Gainshare incentive: Up to 30% of eligible earnings based on company performance.
