Position: Remote Customer Service Representative

About the Role:

American Specialty Health is seeking passionate customer service professionals to join our call center and assist members of our Fitness Programs. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in helping members navigate their association with ASH, providing exceptional customer service to support their health and wellness goals.

Responsibilities:

Respond to incoming calls regarding ASH Fitness programs in a professional and courteous manner.
Accurately record and process member information in the system.
Provide answers to member questions by following standard policies and procedures.
Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
Handle member issues efficiently, escalating when necessary.
Manage time to ensure calls are answered and follow-ups are conducted within required timeframes.
Ensure confidentiality of member data and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year of experience in customer service; inbound call center experience preferred.
Basic experience with MS Office.
Healthcare experience is a plus.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues with a positive attitude.

Remote Worker Considerations:

This position requires a reliable internet connection (minimum download speed of 50 Mbps, 10 Mbps upload speed).
A dedicated work area at home with company-provided technology equipment.
Must be able to participate in video meetings.

Benefits and Pay:

Full-time and Part-time: Starting at $15/hr with the potential for $16/hr in the first year, plus merit-based increases.
Seasonal workers: Starting pay at $15/hr.
Bonus opportunities based on meeting Key Job Accountabilities after 6, 12, and 24 months.
Work-from-home flexibility with company-provided equipment.
