Role Overview
The VSP Billing Representative will be a key player in Enclara Healthcare’s Finance Revenue Cycle team, managing the billing process, handling billing issues, and resolving outstanding balances for Hospice patient accounts. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently, follow policies, and make critical decisions to meet deadlines. The position typically involves 35-40 hours per week and the shift is between 9 am and 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend hours.

Responsibilities
- Billing & Reconciliation:
- Review and reconcile the monthly census for hospice accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly customer invoices.
- Address and resolve various billing issues related to hospice patient accounts.
- Work within defined parameters to meet work expectations and quality standards while having some discretion over prioritization and timing.
- Independent Judgment:
- Work under minimal supervision while adhering to standard policies and practices.
- Use independent discretion when interpreting and applying policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Basic (beginner to intermediate) proficiency in MS Excel.
- Familiarity with other MS Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in Hospice or Pharmacy Billing.
- Strong background in identifying and resolving billing issues and escalating when necessary.
Work-from-Home Requirements
- Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
- Wired, cable, or DSL connections are recommended; satellite or cellular connections only if approved by leadership.

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $40,000 – $52,300 per year, based on experience and geographic location.
