Job Title: Hybrid Lab Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:

TridentCare is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual for the position of Lab Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative. This hybrid role combines responsibilities of dispatching laboratory orders and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in coordinating laboratory services, ensuring orders are properly scheduled and dispatched, and assisting with inbound customer service calls.

  • Properly document changes to orders requested by facilities or ordering physicians.
  • Coordinate estimated time of arrival (ETA) with the technician and facility as needed.
  • Ensure dispatched orders are confirmed as received by technicians.
  • Contact facilities when scheduling or rescheduling is necessary due to any changes.
  • Reassign orders to different technicians when necessary to ensure timely service.
  • Assist with inbound customer service calls as required or directed.

Dispatcher Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, to relay information effectively.
  • Ability to focus in a busy, call-center environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work-From-Home Requirements:

  • Must have a private workspace free from distractions and external noise.
  • High-speed internet connection required for VoIP communication (Fiber or Cable preferred; DSL and Satellite not recommended).
  • Must successfully pass TridentCare’s Network Performance Test using a PC (Chromebooks not compatible).
