Job Description:
Aetna, part of CVS Health, is hiring Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to support their Meritain Wellbeing division in Amherst, NY. This position is remote and focused on addressing client care requests and concerns across phone, web, and written communication channels. You’ll be assisting individuals, providers, and plan sponsors to ensure a seamless experience with Aetna’s health plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle client inquiries and resolve routine issues through phone, email, or written communication.
- Address questions related to Aetna’s policies, procedures, benefits, and other program details.
- Track and record customer interactions, ensuring accuracy.
- Educate clients about their healthcare benefits, and assist with claims, benefits, and plan options.
- Help clients navigate Aetna’s self-service options and online tools.
- Process and resolve complaints, issues, and pre-approval requests using internal systems.
- Build relationships with clients to provide support that aligns with their healthcare needs and improve customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer service role (preferably in a call center or retail environment).
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and active listening.
- Ability to understand and resolve customer concerns with a solution-oriented approach.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced or healthcare-related environment is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a call center, or customer support role.
- Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks in a creative, fast-paced work environment.
