Responsibilities:
- Teach Basic Language Skills: Instruct students in basic language skills including reading, writing, and speaking in French, Hindi, or Tamil.
- Lesson Planning: Develop and deliver lesson plans that cover the full duration of each lesson and adapt teaching methods to suit the content.
- Engagement: Create a lively and engaging classroom atmosphere to inspire students’ interest in the language.
- Assessment and Feedback: Mark student work, provide feedback, and track student progress to support their academic development.
- Examination Preparation: Prepare students for external examinations and language competitions.
- Classroom Management: Manage student behavior effectively both in the classroom and on school premises, addressing any behavioral issues appropriately.
- Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents and caregivers about students’ progress and participate in school meetings, parent evenings, and other events.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualifications: A degree in French, Hindi, Tamil, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with degrees in other disciplines are also welcome to apply.
- Teaching Experience: Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Pedagogical Training: Required to have formal teaching qualifications and pedagogical training.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer use for lesson planning and classroom management.
- Additional Skills: The ability to teach core academic subjects besides the second language would be an added advantage.
