About the Role:

Netflix is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Audio Lead to help craft the sound for a new AAA multi-stage game. As part of Netflix’s in-house game development team, you will have the opportunity to shape a memorable audio experience that deeply engages players and enhances the gameplay. This role offers the chance to collaborate with creative directors, design teams, and engineering teams to deliver an immersive and emotionally compelling game experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate: Work closely with the Creative Director and Design Director to define the audio vision for the game.
Sound Creation: Lead the creation of audio effects, music, character dialogue, and other sound elements to deliver an immersive experience.
System Integration: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to specify, build, and fine-tune all audio systems, ensuring they work seamlessly across the game.
Implement Sound in Unreal Engine: Use Unreal Engine to implement audio content, from early prototypes to live content.
Team Leadership: Guide and mentor other audio team members, managing relationships with vendors and external partners.
Player Experience: Use player feedback, playtest data, and research to refine the sound design to ensure it resonates deeply with players.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience with Audio Tools: Proficiency with industry-standard audio tools such as Wwise and Fmod.
Strong Communication: Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, especially when working with remote teams.
Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee audio production, particularly when involving external partners.
Problem-Solving: A growth mindset and enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges with a team.
Passion for Gaming: A passion for gaming and creating high-quality experiences that serve players.
