Job Overview:
Starbucks is looking for a Product Manager to join the Digital Retail Experiences team, focusing on fulfilling and managing orders across multiple channels. This role will be crucial in ensuring that Starbucks has the systems, tools, and information needed for both partners and customers to have seamless and exceptional retail experiences. As Starbucks continues to grow its digital and mobile-first environment, this position is key to optimizing store engines and order fulfillment systems across café orders, drive-thru, mobile orders, and third-party delivery apps. The role requires collaboration with various teams to create a unified experience for customers and partners, particularly baristas, who are managing high volumes across multiple ordering channels.

- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Oversee a team of technical product managers, engineers, UX designers, and store operations to ensure alignment and deliver on business goals.
- Business Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business teams to define problems, set objectives, and track performance.
- Product Prioritization & Roadmap: Manage and prioritize product features, ensuring all requirements are met while maintaining a clear roadmap.
- Technical & Design Collaboration: Partner with engineering and UX teams to develop and refine technical specifications and design elements for customer-facing features.
- Communication & Reporting: Regularly update senior leadership on product progress and present updates for decision-making and resource alignment.
- Innovation & Technology Application: Stay updated on emerging technologies to inform product development and bring innovative solutions that enhance the partner and customer experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in product management, working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver features and functionality in digital products.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in using data and analytics tools to inform product decisions and optimize performance.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience in managing and working with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Strong experience in agile product development, writing user stories, and managing backlogs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business Acumen: Ability to apply business principles to drive successful outcomes in cross-functional projects.
- Customer-Centric: Strong focus on barista and customer experience, with an understanding of the challenges and needs in a digital-first environment.
- Strategic Communication: Skilled in articulating complex ideas to various audiences, from technical teams to senior leaders, through clear and compelling storytelling.
- Complex Problem Solving: Ability to break down ambiguous problems and design simple, effective solutions.
- Product Management Tools: Familiarity with tools and methodologies that support product management and agile processes.
