**Job Description:**

As a Junior Flight Attendant, your primary role will be to ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our passengers while upholding the values and standards of Southwest Airlines. You will be rigorously trained in all safety and emergency procedures, while also being educated in customer service excellence.

 

**Responsibilities:**

– Greet and communicate effectively with passengers

– Assist in pre-flight preparations and conduct safety checks

– Demonstrate emergency procedures and equipment use to passengers

– Provide special attention to passengers with special needs and unaccompanied minors

– Respond quickly and professionally to passenger inquiries or requests

– Serve refreshments and meals to passengers, and ensure cabin cleanliness

– Ensure compliance with all aviation rules and regulations

– Administer and coordinate in-flight sales and service promotions

 

**Requirements:**

– High school diploma or GED equivalent

– Age 21 or over

– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

– Legally authorized to work in the United States

– Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous

– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

– Strong problem-solving abilities and presence of mind

– Willingness to operate on a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight stays

– Physical ability to lift luggage and operate emergency exits and equipment

 

**Educational Qualifications:**

– Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required

– Further certifications in First Aid and CPR are advantageous

 

 

**Experience:**

– Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
