At Swire Coca-Cola, what does a Line Maintenance Specialist do?
As a member of a high-performing team that is enthusiastic about and dedicated to World Class Manufacturing performance, you will build a line culture of continuous improvement with a focus on zero operational losses and defects while simultaneously ensuring that the safety of our employees always comes first. The occupant works intimately with the line controls expert to guarantee that fitting cycles, capacities, and schedules are set up to help creation by creating independent support and preventive support ability, with explicit spotlight on the mechanical frameworks of an assembling line. In addition, the incumbent will maintain, install, troubleshoot, and recommend mechanical and process modifications to enhance business outcomes in the areas of safety, quality, production, delivery, cost, and employee morale.

Particulars of the job:
Schedule: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday, OT, and weekends as needed)
Participate actively in line Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and daily plan execution, including reporting on the previous 24 hours’ results: number of breakdowns, resolved and unresolved defects, project management, etc. Coach and assist the line team and actively participate in the implementation of maintenance plans. Work with a line controls specialist to lead the breakdown elimination (BDE) daily management system (DMS) and drive breakthrough results in line stops and in Planned / Unplanned downtime – with a specific focus on the mechanical systems of the manufacturing line. Work with a line controls specialist to lead the Maintenance, Planning, and Scheduling System – planning maintenance periods to resolve defects identified through equipment inspections, scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) work orders, and annual maintenance plan tasks / rebuilds – with Support the line team in troubleshooting breakdowns and process failures by developing work instructions to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed using standardized, cost-effective, best practices. Performs additional duties as required to ensure that the machine meets production, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial maintenance preferred or technical certifications/equivalent experience in engineering or industrial maintenance preferred 2+ years working with maintenance systems in industrial manufacturing (with bachelor’s degree) or 4+ years working with maintenance systems in industrial manufacturing (with High School diploma or GED) required Expert in the maintenance of high-speed manufacturing processes, including specific knowledge of fasteners, bearings, belt/chain drives, motors, couplings, conveyors, etc.

Expert in CMMS and other industrial maintenance systems, as well as the ability to plan work and implement improvement plans. Demonstrated ability to lead and work with a team of manufacturing technicians. Able to work with other departments. Able to work nights and weekends as needed to support a 24/7 operation.
