### **Job Summary**
American Airlines is seeking dynamic and friendly individuals to join our team as full-time Flight Attendants. No previous experience as a flight attendant is necessary, as we provide comprehensive paid training. This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about customer service and travel.
### **Job Description:**
As a Flight Attendant at American Airlines, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers while providing exceptional customer service. Our Flight Attendants are ambassadors of our brand and are crucial to maintaining our reputation as one of the leading airlines in the industry.
### **Responsibilities:**
– Perform pre-flight cabin checks and ensure all safety equipment is on board and functioning correctly.
– Greet passengers, assist with seating assignments, and provide boarding assistance.
– Conduct safety presentations for passengers and ensure compliance with all federal regulations during the flight.
– Serve beverages, meals, and snacks while engaging with passengers to create a pleasant flying experience.
– Handle in-flight emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
– Collect and secure duty-free sales and maintain accurate sales records.
– Prepare cabin for landing and ensure all passengers comply with safety regulations.
### **Requirements:**
– Minimum age of 21 years.
– High school diploma or GED.
– Ability to relocate as necessary.
– Competency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
– Physically fit to meet the demands of the role, including the ability to push, pull, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
– A valid passport or the ability to obtain one.
### **Educational Qualifications:**
– High school diploma or GED is required.
### **Training & Experience:**
– No previous experience as a Flight Attendant is required.
– Successful candidates will undergo a training program, which includes both classroom and practical instruction on safety, customer service, and other relevant topics.
