Full job description: Responsible for marketing the Credit Union to members and having a thorough understanding of all services to the point where they can effectively respond to questions, cross-sell, or refer members to specific services.

Positively contribute to the Credit Union’s success by supporting the achievement of organizational goals and working within the department.

responsible for handling all member account-related teller transactions. To include, but are not limited to, MO, cashier’s checks, Shared Branching (if necessary), withdrawals, deposits, and transfers, as well as loan payments of all kinds, printing and reading statements, charging the appropriate fees, and asking about balances.

responsible for opening all deposit accounts, including but not limited to share, share draft, money market accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts of all types, and HSAs.

Payroll deductions, direct deposits, automatic transfers, research requests, wire transfers, share draft stop payments, cashier’s check replacements, and other tasks fall under this category.

Perform notary services, provide Signature Guarantees, and assist members with inquiries and requests, including NADA book values, in person and over the phone.

All consumer loan products, including GAP, DebtCancellation, and MBP, must be thoroughly understood.
Counseling on collateral, procedures, policies, and alternatives, interviewing loan applicants, assisting members with applications, and so on responsible for preparing loan applications, including verifying credit, income, employment, and other information.

Responsible for scheduling and carrying out loan closings, informing applicants of all relevant loan data, such as the disclosure of terms, payment amounts, dates, repayment methods, and insurance requirements, among other things.

Liable for precisely keeping up with change store cabinet, related checks and tickets, record planning, PC info, money and really look at taking care of and adjusting of same consistently. liable for recognizing fraud suspicions and handling them with supervisors and BSA.

Education Requirements for the Position: Graduation from high school or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications: It is desirable to have two years of public contact and one year of experience in a secretarial or office position. Experience with cash handling and six months of teller experience is preferred but not required.

Must be able to effectively meet and work with people with varying levels of education and experience, and must be able to write and speak to them. must be able to follow instructions and be willing to consult with a supervisor when needed.

Technical Knowledge: Ability to use a calculator, keyboard, and computer terminal without requiring additional training or performance. must type at least 35 words per minute.
