Senior Document Controllers in Vancouver are needed to join the engineering and construction team who can show organisation, management and coordination skills that are needed to reinstate and improve the resilience of critical highway and bridge infrastructure as quickly as possible.
Construction work is to be divided into pragmatic sections of work that can be built quickly and efficiently using local companies that know the terrain and the complications involved and that know how to tackle these complex infrastructure projects. Document Controllers are vital to assist with efforts to document and coordinate teams, disciplines and cascade discussions and meeting outcomes across the wider project team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Working as one of a number of Senior Document Controllers, your job duties for this important job role will include the responsibility to:
Take senior responsibility that all vital groups and individuals are notified and have access to the latest versions of project plans and related documentation and meeting minutes.
Take, check and distribute meeting minutes as required
Handle all administration tasks delegated to you by the engineering and project management team
Liaise with other junior level document controllers and undertake document control work as required
Coordinate and assist with the progression of the most suitable designs for each part of each project
Help with the administration of the bidding, tendering and contract award process
Desired Skills and Experience

Some experience of a similar role relating to Document Control on a construction project
May perhaps be a recent engineering, civil engineering or construction degree graduate with some work experience in this area
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
Candidates with a civil engineering degree or equivalent are desired.
