You will strive to accomplish the following objectives as a member of our team:

Owning the development and maintenance of one or more functional areas of test automation and tooling, execution environments, build systems, and tooling used across multiple products Contributing to the successful design and implementation of one or more project features with input from senior engineers Checking in valuable, clean code daily that adds new features and capabilities Becoming a member of our Quality Engineering team, increasing quality through innovation, automated test creation, curiosity, and thoughtful debate

Develop test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and reporting tools to support the flagship streaming mobile apps D+ and Hulu. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement a scalable and high-performing full-stack quality solution. Maintain comprehensive documentation for both end users and project contributors. Provide training for end users and developers on automation tools and frameworks. Investigate and resolve framework or environmental issues impacting our services. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field, five years or more of progressive experience in software development, including test automation for both front-end and back-end services, three years or more of experience in iOS or Android app test automation and unit testing frameworks, and proficiency in one or more programming languages: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to deliver project tasks on time Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an elevated level of motivation and a self-starting attitude Preferred Qualifications: Swift, Kotlin, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript Excellent problem-solving skills Strong collaboration skills and familiarity with standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tools such as Jira, Confluence, and version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub

Experience working with cloud-based testing infrastructures and delivering production iOS/Android apps Experience developing applications on cloud platforms (such as AWS) e.g., SauceLabs) Knowledge of Agile methodologies Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and continuous integration/delivery systems Knowledge of writing Gherkin syntax to make automated test scenarios easier to create Knowledge of creating sophisticated mocking mechanisms e.g., dummy services and rule-based proxies) Knowledge of test suite, case, and run management tools JIRA Xray, for instance)
