Aetna is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contact Center Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level, part-time position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while providing essential support to our customers. As a Contact Center Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive high-quality service and information regarding their health plans.
### Key Responsibilities
– Respond promptly to incoming customer inquiries through multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. – Assist customers with understanding their health insurance benefits, resolving issues, and providing information regarding claims and policy details. – Document customer interactions clearly and accurately in our customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant. – Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and resolution of customer issues. – Perform follow-ups with clients as needed, ensuring timely and thorough responses to their concerns. – Identify trends in customer inquiries and feedback, reporting insights to management for potential process improvements. – Maintain a reliable attendance record to support the availability and reliability of the contact center operations. – Engage in continuous learning about Aetna products and services to enhance your ability to assist customers effectively.
### Requirements
**Education and Experience:**
– High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in customer service or a call center environment preferred. – Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer support role.
**Personality Traits:**
– **Reliable:** Strong work ethic and punctuality; maintain consistent availability and meet deadlines effectively. – **Resourceful:** Ability to problem-solve and navigate challenges independently while utilizing available resources.
**Soft Skills:**
– **Persuasion:** Skilled in effectively communicating with customers, employing persuasive techniques to aid in problem resolution and enhance customer experience. – **Project Management:** Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple customer interactions and administrative duties concurrently.
**Technical Skills:**
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM software. – Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and tools as required in a remote environment.
