Job Title: Online Community Ambassador (Multiple Locations)
\nJob Responsibilities:
\nAs an Online Community Ambassador at Yelp, you will play a vital role in fostering a vibrant online community, driving engagement, and ensuring that Yelp remains the go-to platform for local business discovery. You will be responsible for the following key duties:<\/p>\n
1. Community Engagement:
\nAct as the face and voice of Yelp, fostering meaningful interactions with our online community members.
\nRespond to user inquiries, provide valuable insights, and build strong relationships with our user base.
\nMonitor, moderate, and curate user-generated content to ensure the highest quality and maintain our community guidelines.
\n2. Content Creation:
\nCreate engaging and informative content, including articles, reviews, and blog posts, to promote local businesses and events.
\nCollaborate with local businesses to spotlight their offerings and share their stories.
\nProduce regular newsletters and updates to keep the community informed and engaged.
\n3. Events and Promotions:
\nOrganize and promote community events, both online and offline, to bring Yelp users together and celebrate local businesses.
\nCollaborate with local businesses to create exclusive promotions, deals, and offers for Yelp users.
\n4. Feedback and Improvement:
\nGather and analyze user feedback to provide valuable insights to the Yelp team for platform enhancements.
\nStay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to ensure Yelp continued success.
\nRequired Skills:
\nTo excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:<\/p>\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse online community.
\nSocial media savvy, with experience using various platforms to engage and connect with users.
\nContent creation skills, including writing, photography, and video production.
\nEvent planning and promotion experience is a plus.
\nA deep understanding of the local business landscape.
\nAbility to work independently and manage time effectively.
\nEnthusiasm for Yelp mission of connecting people with great local businesses.
