Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Review and process medication prior authorization requests according to established guidelines and policies.
\nCollaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain necessary information for approvals.
\nVerify patient eligibility and coverage for prescribed medications.
\nMaintain accurate and confidential patient records.
\nCommunicate effectively with healthcare professionals to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service.
\nEnsure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations.
\nKeep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in medication guidelines.
\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:<\/p>\n
High school diploma or equivalent.
\nCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential (preferred).
\nStrong understanding of medical terminology.
\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
\nProficiency in using computer systems and data entry.
\nAbility to work independently and in a remote environment.
\nDetail-oriented and highly organized.
\nPrevious experience in pharmacy operations is a plus.
