They are looking for a 1st \/ 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a varied and interesting role covering 1st and 2nd line support as well as some IT projects. This role will give you the chance to play a key role in a growing team and gain exposure to the most up to date and a wide variety of technology.<\/p>\n
1st \/ 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer Duties:<\/p>\n
To be part of a small team responsible for all incoming client requests, triaging and progressing all support requests via phone, email and remote tools all while providing an exceptional client experience.
\nBuild positive client relationships through exceptional client service, tenacity and the willingness to do the right thing!
\nTake responsibility for and co-ordinate escalated tickets with other team members
\nDiagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing hardware
\nBuild and deploy PC\u2019s and other devices to clients\u2019 networks
\nLiaising with 3rd party vendors
\nCreate, update and maintain documentation relating to clients\u2019 environments
\n1st \/ 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer Requirements:<\/p>\n
IT Support \/ 1st Line Support \/ IT Helpdesk experience
\nIT knowledge and experience of: Active Directory & Group Policy management, Mac OSX, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows Server, O365, Switches, routers & firewalls,, TCP\/IP & network troubleshooting, VPN\u2019s
\nExceptional client support skills with a desire to provide an excellent client experience.
\nConfident personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable dealing with all levels of clients
\nPro-active attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
\nSelf-starting team player who can work on their own initiative, capable of identifying, owning and developing solutions to resolve repetitive issues
\nSolid troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
\nIdeally certified (or working towards) Microsoft, CompTIA or Cisco certifications
\nAbility to multi-task and prioritise your workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail and exceeding KPI\u2019s.
