\nOpenGov\u2019s IT Support Intern role is a paid, 12-week program beginning in July and ending in October. This program offers a great experience to individuals looking to start their careers in IT and Security. Working directly with the Manager, End User Services, you\u2019ll learn what it\u2019s like to work with a mature IT\/Security team at a growing, fun, and fast paced technology company. You\u2019ll get exposure to working with modern day SaaS applications and how to support them, provide fast, friendly, and helpful technical assistance to our end users, work on projects that\u2019ll have a high impact on our organization, and meet with critical stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance<\/p>\n
\u2022 Perform troubleshooting of both hardware and software through probing and problem solving<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provision and deprovision access to SaaS applications<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process of employees<\/p>\n
\u2022 Perform basic admin functions within a wide range of IT systems<\/p>\n
\u2022 Write clear, concise and accurate documentation on work procedures<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assist with inventory management and procurement<\/p>\n
\u2022 Participate on project teams to ensure successful implementation of new systems or upgrades to existing systems<\/p>\n
Requirements and Preferred Experience:<\/p>\n
\u2022 An undergraduate degree or current enrollment in an accredited educational institution<\/p>\n
\u2022 1+ years previous experience in a technical support role<\/p>\n
\u2022 Hands on approach to problem solving<\/p>\n
\u2022 A team player attitude, working across organizations and company to continue improving the way we serve our employees<\/p>\n
\u2022 Working knowledge of Google Workspace, and Office 365<\/p>\n
\u2022 Strong verbal and documentation skills<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team<\/p>\n
