\nAs a Translator at The Elite Job, you will play a crucial role in conveying meaning from source text to target text, meeting Project Manager requests, client specifications, and deadlines. Here are the key responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
\nTranslate or review requested text accurately and completely, ensuring the faithful transmission of meaning.
\nDemonstrate the ability to translate at a pace of 250 words per hour, 2,000 words per day, and 10,000 words per week.
\nComplete accepted jobs in alignment with project specifications and within the given deadline.
\nFormat all individual document requests in accordance with the original.
\nAdditional Employment Expectations:
\nFamiliarity with Translation Memory software, such as Wordfast, MemoQ, SDL Trados, XTM, Across, Xbench, D\u00e9j\u00e0 Vu, is an advantage.
\nAll applicants will undergo an interview process, including possible sample translations, to assess language proficiency.
\nQualifications & Criteria
\n2-3 years of translation experience.
\nUniversity degree or higher, with additional experience in specialized fields considered an advantage.
\nProficiency in using Internet software, Microsoft products, and excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and the target language.
