Job Description: Goldman Sachs is seeking a Back Office Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Back Office Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our operations by providing exceptional support in various back-office functions. Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Trade Settlements: Handle trade confirmations, matching, and settlements in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
\nReconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
\nRisk Management: Assist in monitoring and managing operational risks, implementing controls, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
\nDocumentation: Maintain and update trade-related documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
\nCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Front Office, Middle Office, and Compliance, to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
\nProblem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to trade discrepancies and operational inefficiencies.
\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Bachelor degree in finance, business, or a related field.
\nPrior experience in a back-office role within the financial industry is a plus.
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
\nKnowledge of industry-standard trade settlement systems and processes.
