Yelp is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Content Moderator to focus on removing spam comments from our platform. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding our high standards for community-generated content, ensuring that our users can rely on Yelp for honest and reliable recommendations.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Review and moderate user-generated content, with a primary focus on identifying and removing spam comments.
\nUtilize moderation tools and guidelines to evaluate the quality and authenticity of user reviews and comments.
\nMaintain a consistent and high level of moderation accuracy.
\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to improve moderation processes and tools.
\nStay updated on industry trends and best practices for content moderation.
\nRequirements:<\/p>\n
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and remove spam content effectively.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
\nFamiliarity with Yelp platform and a passion for the company mission.
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
\nStrong organizational and time management skills.
\nPrior experience in content moderation is a plus but not required.
