Job Description<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are expanding our team within Amex Operations! If you are interested in working in a company where you can have fun, achieve great results and put a smile on people\u2019s faces, this could be the perfect role for you.
\nAs an Operations Specialist you supervise shift management in one of our collection centers (\u2018first mile fulfillment centers\u2019), sorting centers (\u2018middle mile sortation centers\u2019) or delivery stations (\u2018final mile delivery stations\u2019). Our Operations Specialists direct our on-site operations and play an important role in winning our customers\u2019 orders at every step of the logistics chain.<\/p>\n

This is a varied, complex role and every day is different!<\/p>\n

Your Responsibilities\u2026<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u2013 Creating and maintaining a safe workplace by identifying opportunities for safety throughout the work area;
\n\u2013 Supervising and training our employees to provide the best service to our customers;
\n\u2013 Ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled in accordance with quality and safety guidelines;
\n\u2013 Continuously providing information regarding the shifts to frontline management and operators;
\n\u2013 Adjusting the distribution of work across departments to meet and exceed plans and forecasts;
\n\u2013 Collaborate with support functions or other departments to address common issues or needs in key performance areas, e.g. process area readiness, 5S, safety, training;
\n\u2013 Contributing to finding solutions in the field of logistics and the production chain through data analysis, innovation and process optimization.<\/p>\n
