What will you do as a Logistics Account Manager?

As a Logistics Account Manager, you’ll play a critical role in driving our business forward. This position is perfect for ambitious sales professionals who are goal-oriented, detail-focused, and strategic thinkers.

You will gain the essential knowledge and skills to secure clients and efficiently manage their transportation needs. You’ll oversee your own business portfolio, acting as the primary contact for 24/7/365 logistics operations. This role offers a path to financial independence with unlimited earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Proactively research and pursue potential clients to build your portfolio.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as the central point of contact between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers.
  • Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with clients and carriers by delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with clients and carriers to maximize profitability.
  • Freight Management: Oversee and manage the daily shipping needs of your clients.
  • Carrier Sourcing: Identify and secure carriers for negotiated loads.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, carriers, and team members.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Experience: No prior sales experience is needed—we value attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, communication, and time management skills are essential.
  • Mindset: We seek individuals with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Must be able to work full-time on-site at our office.
