Delta Airlines is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Human Resources Executive to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR functions and a commitment to enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness. This role is pivotal in driving HR initiatives that align with our business objectives and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support Delta Airlines mission and goals.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and drive talent management initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing concerns and promoting a culture of open communication.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in the airline or hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR strategy development.
  • Track record of implementing successful HR initiatives that have positively impacted organizational performance.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time position, with flexible working hours to accommodate team collaboration across different time zones.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, including applicant tracking systems and HRIS.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in human resources management.
