Full Job Description:-

We are seeking a Data Engineer for our team in the Automotive industry, located in Torrance, CA. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and includes hybrid work type, with the necessity of being on-site for three days per week. As a Data Engineer, you will be crucial to maintain our organization’s data infrastructure, ensuring data availability and quality to support data analytics and business intelligence efforts and perform ETL functions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
  • At least six years of work experience in data management disciplines, including data integration, modeling, optimization and data quality, or other areas directly relevant to data engineering responsibilities and tasks
  • Proven experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Glue, EMR, Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
