Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate and timely information about flight schedules, reservations, and policies.
  • Assist customers with booking, changing, and canceling flights, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Handle complaints and resolve issues by providing effective solutions and escalating matters to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Process and manage refunds, compensation requests, and other related tasks as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of American Airlines services, policies, and procedures to effectively address customer needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service quality and share feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or remote environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of English.
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
