As an IT Help Desk Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as assisting users with technical inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in our ticketing system.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues and follow up on problem resolution.
Educate end-users on basic IT-related tasks and best practices.
Contribute to the development and improvement of IT support documentation.
Required Skills:
Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Support Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with common software applications, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Customer-oriented attitude with the ability to provide exceptional service.
Adept at working both independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
IT-related certification (e.g., CompTIA A+) is a plus.
